What tested best practices do they have that might be applicable to the classroom? What skill sets do they need in new hires? How do they stay competitive in our new global economy? How has technology and innovation impacted the way they do business? These questions and more will be the discussion themes at each business we visit montly for each LT I session day that runs from November through May!

LT I 2010-2011 is open to all K-12 NH educators and involves 8 session days from November through May and participants can choose to earn 6 graduate credits from Plymouth State University!

Students benefit directly from your LT session days because after every LT session day you will bring back to the classroom relevant information and industry best practices and you will expand student's knowledge about the myriad opportunities that exist in the NH workplace and the critical skill sets needed to succeed.

This unique yearlong program kicks off with a team-building retreat for each regional LT I cohort on Saturday, November 6, 2010 and then meets monthly during the week at business sites that model real world applciations of the curriculum area featured for the day. (Note: Two of the session days are during the February and April vacation week, so there will only be a total of 5 days out of the classroom.)
